I was really hoping for a PS3 English port of Vesperia, but sadly it never came :(
I got over halfway through Star Ocean 3, but I haven't picked it back up yet... Too many other games came out that took priority over it. I'll try to get back to it after I finish Resonance of Fate.

After I finished Dai Senryaku VII: Exceed's campaign, I started playing Shadow Hearts: From the New World. So far it's story seems very generic, but I guess it'll evolve with time.
I have to say that this game's opening is pretty cool, like all Shadow Hearts games.

And I'm still playing Hero's Saga: Laevatein Tactics.

Sadly, it really doesn't. Shadow Hearts: From the New World is a letdown in every way imaginable. It was simply an attempt to cash in on a popular series by throwing out a half baked idea and running with it.

You're pretty hard on games aren't you ?

So far I'm feeling it's not as good as the previous two SH games, but it's not as bad as you're saying.
In all these years I've played just a few RPGs that are so bad that are totally unplayable, and this one definetly is not one of them.

No no, it wasn't unplayable. In fact, it still had the nice SH game mechanics. The story just wasn't very good. You'll understand when you finish it.

After a very weird character named Frank, who's a pseudo-ninja trained by Brazilian ninjas(!?!?) that looks a lot like an ex-president of US, joins my party, I thought it couldn't get worst than that.
You don't know how much I wanted the next character to join, so I could leave Frank to rest. But then, a big and fat talking cat who fights drunken boxing joins my team ... sigh
Please tell me the next character who joins is a litlle more normal.

I just finished Hero's Saga: Laevatein Tactics. It's a so-so game, I was expecting more. Couldn't get myself to do "Battle Chapters" for the sake of doing 100%

And I'm still playing Shadow Hearts: From the New World. I started using Ricardo, someone a little more normal, lol.

Taskforce,

I forgot to reply to this earlier, but if you did decide you wanted to get an XBox 360, make sure you get one that has a Jasper chip in it. All the new ones should have it but if you get a used or refurbished one you should check the back part of the system and see if the power rating is 12.1A. Supposedly those chips greatly reduce the amount of heat the system produces and thus makes Red Rings of Death a lot less likely. I think I read somewhere it was a 3-4 percent failure rate with that chip which is similar to other next-gen consoles.

Also if you have a Game Crazy by you, they're going out of business and you might be able to get one with a good discount. Mine had a refurbished one for $149 with 25% off. I'm thinking that the systems will also get a price cut soon because the PS3 is doing well and they might make an Xbox slim when that Natal thing comes out (which I'm worried may Wii-ify the system).

Oh and I'm still on Disk 4 of Lost Odyssey, there is a ton of sidequests on the disk, after that I will probably play either Tales of Innocence since its release is imminent and/or Final Fantasy 13 for Xbox.

I started playing A Witch's Tale, it's a cute little game. It has a problem, the controls are all on the touch screen, not a single button works on this game. Besides that, it's a good game.

And I'm still playing Shadow Hearts: From the New World. Going to the third Malice seal.
