Does anyone have an .ips patch file for this game please and willing to share..? or even create a working .ips patch file.
'cos the 'Retron 5' console won't accept .bps my only option is .ips file to be able to play my hardcopy of the game.
I've looked everywhere and it seems every patch file is just .bps :(
I wonder why this was patch format was chosen over the more popular patch .ips format..?

Maybe it's a bit convoluted solution, but... I think it's posible to create a patch file by having both the original jp rom and the translated one. So maybe you could use a patching program to create the ips file yourself by doing a diff of the jp rom and the bps patched one and storing those differences into a ips file format.

I remember doing something like this some years ago, with an original rom file and a copy of that same rom that I had manually modified using a hex editor (it was Jungle Wars 2, a little experiment I did of translating the options from the menu into English, as that game already had an English font)

Maybe it was LunarIPS the patching program I used, but I couldn't assure it.

There is an IPS patch right here on this very website in the download section. Just scroll down the page, it contains not only BPS patches, but also IPS, Xdelta and even UPS. :)

The links can also be found on the project pages themselves for all 4 types of files.
