Hi, the language is portuguese. So I need to add some chars, like á, à, é, í, ó, í, ã, â, ô, ô, ç, etc.....
I have experience with Snes and Genesis asm, so it will not be a problem.
But if you guys could help me with something I'll appreciate.

Thanks

Hmm, I thought this was already done in portuguese... I must be thinking of some thing else.
If I'm not mistaken, there was hell trying to get extra characters added for the last project.
I can't remember that far back anymore.

The game was translated to Spanish. Seems that the Spanish version has only one extra character (ñ).
There is some japanese simbols between the characters, so I think I can replace these japanese simbols. And there is a lot of random characters too. There is some visible words, like "Po is on", but there is a lot of other repetitive characters.
Do you remember why there is all these characters at the end of the Rom? This is for DTE/MTE purpose?

Bongo, do you have some documents, or some code for this game? I think I can do all the work alone, if necessary, but if you help you will save me a lot of time.

Thank you........

heheh, DTE at the end of the ROM. limited space indeed. As for code, I don't know if I still have any JB stuff. I have to check a few old CD-Rs.

Hi,
I'm new on the forum I just discovered.
As DougRPG, I want to translate Just Breed in my language (French).
I already made some translations on NES, Famicom Disk and GameBoy.

My work is based on the English version of Just Breed.
Currently, I started to work on text extraction and MTE / DTE.

So, I have the same request as DougRPG:
Bongo, do you still have some code or documents on this hack? It would help me a lot.

Thank you!

Actually, I've been wanting to play this game for two years, but I've been either too busy with family issues or writing stories.

But I've played enough of it to know I want to give it a polish - not a total re-write - just a good solid edit. The reason for this is because of what these fellows are saying. Personally, I believe that Destiny of an Emperor-II and Dragon Warrior-IV are the best NES RPGs ever. FF-III and IV are pretty good, too. This one maybe belongs with those.

So, B-Man, if you can whip together the inserter again, maybe we can do the English polish thing, the French thing, the Portuguese thing, the whole enchilada. Maybe we can find someone to introduce tiles for the needed characters with diacritical markings.

How about it? I'm supportive of additional Western language translations.
