Save states would be best yes, either SNES9X or ZSNES is fine.

I seem to only have saves for the absolute paths near the end (Feda, Genocide).
Do you think it would be possible for you to deduct the codes you want from either of them?

Sure. All I need is saves with different ranks so I can compare searches and see if I can find the values to modify the ranks. In this case, SNES9X saves would be best because the RAM search feature is much better with that emulator.

So you're saying any point of the game is fine?
If so it will be easier to generate the emblems

I need one at the last boss and/or ending so I can quickly test if the rank modification code works. Assuming the game is not a b*tch and lets me find it easily.

And yep, saves scattered on different parts of the game would be swell too so I can have differently ranked saves to make comparisons with.

I've generated Snes9x savestates for you pertaining both Feda and Genocide emblems, as well as their respective endings.
I will generate saves for the intermediate emblems afterwards.

The files were made using Snes9x Debugger version 1.51.ep10r2 by Geiger.

Oh, perfect! Thanks a million.

When you say "generate", what are you referring at? Did you make codes to change the ranks or something along those lines?

Naw, its just when I playtest games for the group I tend to sort and bookmark my playthroughs very throughly, so I merely loaded different points of save ram to make the save states you needed. I don't know how to find codes or anything in memory.

Ah, got it. Well, when and if you find the other saves, post them here too. The more the merrier.

With the saves I managed to find the code for End 2, but I can't find one for End 3. Do you have a save state for that one Red Soul?
