Appreciate. I believe the story will be captivating because much of it is based on Chinese mythology that the ancients believed. The characters will bring the history to life due to the fact that most fiction is based on credible events in history.What will throw some people out of comfort zones is some rather unusual game mechanics such as

never finding Gold or having defeated enemies drop Gold but still needing lots of "moolah" in this game.

Only way to get gold is to sell items and loot. It pays to search pots, trees etc for hidden items, and equipment sells often for high amounts. You can also "haggle" to get a few extra gold for selling stuff, but if you make too greedy offers you have to exit the area before the merchant speaks to you again, then try selling again.

A welcome feature is that you get half exp for escaping battles. It requires that you roughly keep leveled with your ememies, otherwise it will fail.

I completed my second pass re-write last night. Hausen may in-house test the entire game and side-quests now. The only script I didn't polish completely was some of the strings associated with the quiz. Hausen will be reviewing all of that and putting everything in order to make sure it works in an English translation.

Here is what needs to be done to finish completely.

1. In-house testing wrapped up.
2. The over-stuffed item pack bug fixed - if possible.
3. The graphics in the puzzles, floors, and dice game redrawn, as appropriate. We may keep some Chinese.
4. Everything quiz-related identified and refined, with the place found (if any) where a player actually takes the quiz.
5. Full beta testing.

Excellent! I'll be sending you full notes in a few days. There were some naming hiccups and I want to review some item and monster names too - and that quiz overall. In the last version I just recruited Zhang and was on my way to Xianyang, and I can safely say the script is looking very good. I think I'll spin it once more from the start leaving no nook or granny unturned. With this translation it's a breeze.
