Hoping to make your life's design a bit more dynamic!

Are any of the mercenaries related to Shiji in some way? Some of them (毛盗, 李酒) are obviously made up for the game and they're all just two characters, but was there ever a mention of a Lin Ke or Dong Jiao of some sort?

From my recollections, none of the mercs were based on legendary figures. If any were, I believe Hausen would have picked up on those. I’m fairly certain the warrior classes are representative, however. Some people have suggested name and classification adjustments for female combatants, but I stuck with the name transliterations suggested by Hausen, my period advisor. I did change one warrior class for one of the mercs, as recommended by Recca.

I see! So the chicken squawking thing was made up for this...it seemed more like the game's strange sense of humor than a page in Sima Qian's records, I can say that at least.

What changes were suggested? On what grounds?
