Almost every game under the sun had a guidebook produced for it in Japan, which is why I don't think they have a centralized hub for the FAQs/walkthroughs of any kind (like GameFAQs for English speakers etc.)
That is a sensible theory, but I don't think it's factual. FAQs/guides are called 攻略, and the site Wazap! (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wazap!) serves as a hub cataloging games, cheats, and guides in a similar manner to GameFAQs.

I do remember the font I had previously been using was one filler wanted, even though I thought it looked rather ugly after awhile of seeing it in use.
Sort of an italics Courier New.
The one being used in this patch looks better.
Though it looks like it's a fixed width font, and not a VWF.
I'm guessing it was chosen because VWF breaks stuff in some places (such as the spell menu in battle, where the game wants to simultaneously print multiple strings at once and using VWF causes the strings to corrupt each other). (I ended up using two fonts, one VWF and one FWF, taking care to add a tag to switch to them when needing. I think I had used the FWF on menu text simply because using VWF on them was annoyingly slower and/or caused formatting problems.)

I didn't know where to say this, but I just wanted to mention that none of the screenshots currently display on the project page:

All that aside though, nice work so far. :)

I made a placeholder page that Wildbill is supposed to fill out at some point.
