1. Pointer $232589 seems to have some typos in it, and it displays twice. There might be a missing [end] tag.
2. This was in the original hack for SSMS-I as well, but the font/text for when you gain or lose MP in battle is bugged. If you lose it, it should be in red text, but at the moment it displays as garbled text. If you gain, it doesn't display accurately at the moment.
3. Looking at $232567, I think I would change what I originally had for the last line to "Wake up!" (or "Open your eyes!"). Sorry about that.

I'll try to look at this tomorrow evening. Bongo`, if you're out there... this one may be crying for your TLC!

If you're referring to the menu field "Stats" for any character in the party, I just checked my lineup. Using the B button, I was able to return to the overworld screen and control party movement again.

Check your button mapping is all I know to suggest.

I tested in ZSNES 151 and am using a USB Buffalo gamepad, Model BSGP810GY.

Hello,

I'm glad to see that you guys released this. I ran into a problem trying to get this game working on my SD2SNES flash cart in a Super NT. The game starts up fine and goes through the opening sequence which seems like I can't speed past, but after the opening flood in the intro, it goes to a black screen with the music still playing. It just stalls here and there does not seem a way to go past this. Any thoughts?

Edit: I tested this on SNES9x as well on my laptop and it did the same thing.

No one has reported a crash of any kind. The only theory I have at this moment is the Japanese ROM you used possibly being altered. I never had this happen, and neither did the beta testers. Tomorrow, if I get a chance, I’ll run through that opening sequence.

I just tried another version of the file, removed the header and it did the same thing. A few minutes into the intro it goes into the black screen with music in the background. Considering that you are probably busy, don't worry about the issue. I'll keep on experimenting when I have more time to see if I can get it to work. I used the IPS format patch but I doubt that would matter.

ultpaladin: Actually if you used one of the other patches, they would verify you have the proper rom before patching.
