This popped up on RHDN (http://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=25647.0) and in this thread (https://www.retro5.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=56722) just recently. Though I'd post it here as a heads up in case anyone comes asking about it here, and in case anyone tested this on the Retron 5 during development and has any additional information.

The Devil takes notes from Lina Inverse? That sounds about right.

This is the Famicom prequel to our SSMS-I. King Mike built the English patch for it. The problem appears to be ROM expansion. If such issues carry over with similar devices for expanded SFC ROMs, due to patch application, I'd still rather have the extra space than try to make a patch compatible with every device that comes down the pike.

Ah, that makes more sense. I guess it's nothing we need to be concerned about at any rate.

Yep, totally agree. Our goal should be real hardware only. And then whatever emulators it works on, it works on. Unfortunately, that is tough to check these days. My SNES copier bit the dust a couple years back. I donno if Wildbill still has and uses his or not. And I do not have a flash cart. Wish I did. Maybe I should invest in one but they're very expensive for the better ones. So, we'll do the best we can with what we have to work with. And that is to make sure it works on the one emulator we know is the most accurate BSNES (and its newer incarnation.)
