Nice to hear D-D picking up this translation.
It really deserves to be finished.

Though, to correct you, it should actually be Big Shell Monsters Story.
Shell Monsters Story is its Famicom predecessor I released a patch for years ago.

Haha! Thanks for the input. There was a debate going on behind the scenes about the title.
This does make more sense. If there was a translator available for the third entry, I would hand that person the already dumped script. :) Too bad it's not dumped in "pure" text format.

Wouldn't it make sense to finish ongoing projects (Chaos Seed, Aretha, Albert Odyssey) before picking up new ones? Just saying...

Yes, Pete, it would make sense. :) Chaos Seed is out of my hands. Aretha 1 and 2 are pretty well taken care of and Albert Odyssey is not our project. With that said, I am a hacker. I simply hack games. I have more projects than you know ready for some action. I also help people with translations. Now, I'm not sure you know this but many of us have lives outside of hacking. Like some of us have new or young children, family issues, storm and computer issues and etc... Sorry we have yet to release anything to the public but like I mentioned earlier, I am a hacker. So if I am waiting on other things to happen, I don't just sit around doing nothing. :) Hopefully you'll see some thing here soon!

I like your style Pete!

That's why I guilt-tripped WildBill into finally doing more work on Chaos Seed. I've been sitting here for years waiting on him, and now things have finally started moving along. It seems to be his main priority at the moment, and he's working hard to get through his end of the deal.

I should also add for some of the games, we do end up having to wait around a lot... Not just on people editing, but sometimes we have to wait on translators to do their part, on Bongo` to fix certain game-stopping bugs, on real-life happenings... It's really not as easy as it may seem.

I understand. Can't wait to play Chaos Seed, so it's good to hear Wildbill is working at it again. There haven't been any posts or updates from him for a long time.

All the thanks (up to this point as far as our group is concerned) should go to Bongo`, he worked tirelessly to make sure most of the assembly was out of the way before he even brought it to the rest of the group and asked if we'd all like to finish it. It takes a lot of dedication to pump hours of work into something that you aren't sure where it will go. Thanks Bongo`. And of course to all involved with the original project. A very BIG thank you to all involved before us.
