That's a very nice preview! I love the NES music - brings back memories...

The Kana at the top left and the Kanji on the bottom cards (fighters and/or allies?) - will those be graphics hacks? Best of luck with this game, Garrett!

Congrats on the progress. It looks great. :) I remember taking a look at a script for one of these Famicom Dragon Ball games for you or someone else but I couldn't quite stick with it. It's really neat to see it translated though. I can imagining myself playing it back when it was contemporary if it was in English and I knew what Dragon Ball was. ;) Too bad it looks like it just follows the story of the show for the most part. I wonder if it throws some original stuff in there or not? Also the card system looks kind of cool. I think I'd prefer something like that to an action game, though I suppose either could be cool. Anyway, glad to see another anime based game on it's way to anglicization (I realize I'm using this term liberally).

The Devil takes notes from Lina Inverse? That sounds about right.

You're probably thinking about RedComet.

I believe I've watched the Dragon Ball anime in its entirety, but I don't remember parts of the game in the anime. In fact, I think the game deviates entirely away from the anime and adds it own stuff in.

It probably was Red Comet. That's nice to know that the game may add in it's own stuff. The part in the video is like the stuff that happens at the end of the Tenkaichi tornament when they introduce Piccolo Daimao towards the end of Dragon Ball only it's been ported to Kame house rather than the Tenkaichi grounds. It would be interesting to see where it goes from there. I'll have to check it out when it's done.

New project going to be released soon. Just gotta hack a player selection screen, test the game and figure out a few wtf moments in the script.

Congrats on a new release Garrett. I have no idea what the game is like but I'll check it out of curiosity.
The title sort of points towards something wacky, but I wouldn't know until I tried.
Anyways just keep your great patches coming eh?

I suppose I am, but I haven't worked on any epic RPG's like you guys do yet. Therefore I can keep churning them out relatively quickly.

Here's a video of the game in action. Finished the hacking for it as well. Just need to test now.
