You guys heard it here first, about a day before I intended to release something.

Another holiday release and there isn't a better to relax from a day off of work and play a little Grand Master.

I've heard of a fellow who has devised a clone of an NES cart that takes an SD chip for copying ROMs, and this allows players to enjoy these games through an actual NES console. I would love to try Grand Master and many other NES translations on such a system if it really works, especially an action game. Has anyone heard whether this system actually works? Major congrats on this. This looks like the kind of game I would have loved back in the day. I was a fan of Ninja Gaiden and I wished that more games used that cut scene style storytelling to add some drama to the gameplay (I liked Golgo 13 a lot for this reason as well). It looks like this game was right along those lines. Too bad it never came out back then, but it's great we can check it out in English now thanks to you.

The Devil takes notes from Lina Inverse? That sounds about right.

That sex scene might be a little more explicit. Someone did a de-censor patch for the game.

Btw, the Japanese version of Bayou Billy, Mad City, is much easier and it has more fun stuff in it. I have to finish hacking it, but the translation's all finished.

Oh, going to be throwing some random patches out soon. About 3-4 games for sure.

Heh, me too (on both counts). I had gotten what I thought was "really far" in the game until emulation came along and I thought I might give it another try. After checking game FAQs I realized that I'd only ever gotten to the mid dungeon. :(

Garrett: Sweet. Do you think this was actually ever in the game or did the hacker add it in? BTW: An easier/better version of Bayou Billy would be great. Let us know when that one is playable.

Mad City aka Bayou Billy has been collecting dust on my computer for almost a year now. Out of my all current projects, it's probably the smallest game left to hack, but it'll probably be a while before I get to it and finally finish it.

So today I decided to release a bunch of patches with two of them being pretty insignificant (Insector X and B-Wings) and one interesting patch for Dragon Ninja, the japanese version of Bad Dudes. Plus my first FDS translation, but a patch for that one is stalled due to technical difficulties in making a proper patch. The hack's finished, just having problems making a patch.

I didn't feel like doing too much site maintenance, so things are kind of incomplete. Also in the process of the setting up a new site.

I didn't actually think I'd finish Mad City anytime soon, but I did anyway.
