Sylar! Did you know about this little but epic 1995 eroge JRPG "Legends of Xentar", that was ported for the DOS PC from "Dragon Knight III" on older computers? It's actually in English! Well, the only game in the Dragon Knight series (4 games in all) to be localized in English. I've come across this new video of the entire English game (Clocking at under 10 hours) being played on the PC! So you can perhaps add it to your Jap PC Zone!

Knights of Xentar (PC) Playthrough (18+) - NintendoComplete (Oct 5, 2016. NSFW. Nice description.)

Also I didn't tell you before about another amazing-looking Kickstarter JRPG-style game made by a small French team and built on the Unity engine called Edge of Eternity. When it comes out then you can check and play it. It's still in alpha ATM.

Been trying to find a copy of this 'Knight of Xentar' on the net, BUT the cd-rom version with full speech. Every version iv'e downloaded wont work on windows 10, and I don't particularly want to download DOS box to play it either. :( so that plan has gone out the window :(

Well, in the not-so-distant future Glory of Heracles 4 will come out probably, once all the issues are ironed out, so I think you will be able to play that one instead. :) This game really is quite fun, like the 3rd part!

Apart from that one, I'm probably looking most forward to some translation projects by Dynamic Designs and Shin Megami Tensei: If... (and maybe some other projects by Aeon Genesis). There are quite a few interesting games out there still left in Japan...

well yeah, was hoping to get an early copy for that game but to no avail, that would have been a perfect chance for me to get an early start on it's sanctuary page whilst i beta tested it for them. I thought they would have gone with that considering Iv'e had all week off uni but didn't get NO reply from anyone over on the forum with my post at their website, oh well.

This has made my day! Although I did read an article somewhere saying that Falcom was slated to release or re-release two or three games into English for the worldwide market.
Xanadu Next has been re-released for the PC and can be bought at GOG, Steam and Humble Bundle. It's armed with an official localization, widescreen support and perhaps better controller support. So now you don't need to hunt down that rare disc version according to SylarDean's PC Zone page.
