As for the script, the crew here can tell you that a lot of our games use scripting engines. Although everyone decodes and dumps these files in their own way, i stll think it should be handle in a way where some one else can understand it. That data looks confusing. I have had to redump complete script files at times just to make it easier to work with. |

I actually want a new text dump for the Japanese text to be used a base for a new insertion system. The script changed hands between many translators of varying Japanese and English skills over the years. While it did receive a general pass, only the beginning or so was polished with context. So I found a translator who has hesitantly agreed to review, retranslate, and rewrite the entire script. So I kinda need a new dump to get all that started. Also there is a buy one get one free deal with dumping the script for AN, because Traverse uses the same game engine and everything. |

That looks pretty simple, generally speaking. But I'm way too busy to take a deeper look at it at present :/ |

XML... that sounds about right. Don't need the english for more than anything besides a reference point. |

I suppose I might be able to, given that it's basically the same engine as Rejoice, but I don't really have the time or energy for it. Maybe it was Rejoice I was thinking of then. Yeah, Yonoman is the developer if I'm not mistaken. They did FEDA as well. Japan Art Media also created the Aretha series, so I guess it's not too surprising they decided to combine them to create Rejoice. Yanoman is the publisher of FEDA, developer is Climax, who supposedly was related to the Shining Force developers in some way. |
