How do I tell how many experience points I've accumulated and how many more to level up?

To my knowledge, the developers didn't include those calculation features in the menu functions. Yes, they would be nice to have!

I had all that data saved and noted, but even if I wanted to add it, there is no darn screen space for it.
I could have added it as a new feature and all. Sorry.

Can you share your notes?

If you're just wanting a cheat for experience (and I'm not saying you are), there is a way to do it without worrying about how much exp you have. At the end of battle, it will tell you how much exp you got in battle. Fight two or three battles and search for the experience gained. Then once you find the right address, change it to get a lot more exp after battle.

Maka-maka was one of the games that never told you the EXP to level-up.
Though in that game's case, the game printed most of the text in 8x16 but I found the rarely used call to print in 8x8 so I could change EXP to that and have room to fit in the level-up EXP.
(although in Maka-maka's case, getting a level-up also recovers the character's HP/TP so you maybe they didn't want to tell you so you couldn't take advantage of that. :P )

If I am not mistaken, this game does that too. There is no 8x8 routine for this game. The menu system is limited. Seems to simply exist because the dev-team asked for a menu.
