Never played far enough for Battle Frontier.

Is it like the Battle Subway with lots of cheapness like Alomomola with Leftovers+Aqua Ring+Dive (fighting that thing is pretty much the definition of what TwitchPlaysPokemon has termed "cancer match"). AND IT CAN LEARN REST?! Most broken **** cheap **** I've seen.

Well... More or less. The Battle Frontier has several buildings, each one with different mechanics and rules.

They start kind of easy, and as you win battles they get harder and harder. Every one can be beaten with effort and good strategies, but ¡f you keep winning and winning, the game starts throwing you perfect creatures (perfect against you, of course) and some very very annoying cheap tactics too.

Most infamous if I recall correctly is the Battle Tower, you keep fighting groups of enemies, 7 trainers each time. The first three times going (21 victories) range from easy to challenging, but after that it starts to pull things from it's cartridge-y ass and try everything to make you lose.

To the point of even making your moves fail just because. Or know when exactly are you going o change your pokémon or attack to counter them. I've been ready stories where the AI is capable of knowing when you're playing tricks with it (like using Zoroark's ability to disguise itself as another creature), or people playing with cheats and still losing somehow.

It is called the Cheap Tower/Subway because of this, and really contrasts compared with the "Ai Level 0" trainers, lol.
