I always find it difficult to define what exactly is an RPG because an awful lot of games have role playing elements, even though they wouldn't be classed as RPGs per say...

Well, I answered this before, and I doubt I could limit it to ten. Anyway, here is a list of stand out RPGs that I'd actually play again, in no particular order. Here is hoping I don't forget anything.

Who knows if I forgot anything. But here is a list of stuff I'd be willing to play again (or multiple times)

I always get these a little off because all are close except the first two tied for #1. I also report many favorites as series. My criteria is addictiveness and multiple plays, games I cannot put down or walk away from and am likely to repeat in the future. Shadow Hearts would have been in there at the time because of multiple plays, but I will probably not do it again. Too many games, not enough time. I might play Luminous Arc-II (top 30) again if I could get it on a big screen. It's hard for me to take peep show games as seriously as those I can do on a 50" 17X9 plasma! Maybe a good NDS emulator will come along and I can use one of those 22" monitors that rotate vertically!
