Yeah, it only needs a few cardboard boxes, rations and an overly complicated plot, and the snake will do the rest.
Lol. What about manning the codec?

Fyi: My request was approved by my landlord! I mounted a homemade shelf to the wall today. I requested a Miami phase cornsnake from the pet store which I should find out about on Monday. In the meantime, I'll probably pick up the terrarium and supplies tomorrow.

Damn, I forgot about the Codec. Now it can't save the game... Or even worse, flirt with a young asian woman through old proverbs. My flawless plan is ruined!

But anyway... Congratulations on the request! I hope everything goes well.

I got most of the terrarium stuff today. Should have something to put in it next week. :)

I realized I never updated everyone on my reptile adventure. :)

I got my corn snake "Houdini" (due to his knack for hiding and appearing to have disappeared), and it's been wonderful. One of the best decisions I've made.

Here's a picture of him as a little guy.
Spoiler! :

He was probably 8-10 inches when I first got him. Just a teeny guy!

He's since grown to near is adult size. He's probably around 3-3.5 feet?

Snakes aren't too bright, but they are super easy to take care of, and rewarding to keep. I love watching him when he decides to be out in his enclosure, and I try to handle him frequently. I let him crawl around a little on my couch or bed. He likes to crawl into small spaces so I let him climb in pillow cases, or I keep a reptile hide or two around I can "guide" him into when he's being too curious.

Here he is having crawled partially into my pant-leg while I was watching a movie.

And curled up on his log in his enclosure.

And here he is being cute.

Overall, I couldn't be happier. I'm glad I followed my heart and did something I've wanted to do for so long.

He says thanks for the compliment!

I wanted a Miami phase specifically for that reason. Corn snakes come in a lot of different morphs, but this one is naturally occurring and I think it's very handsome.

I don't think I will consider a snake as a pet I am okay with a Pomeranian.
