Cloudy and cold. 33F or 0.5C. High 37F or 2.7C. The chance of precipitation was removed for this week so at least there is that.

Right now, it's 0 degrees fahrenheit. There's a huge icicle dangling from the gutter outside. Probably a foot and a half of snow on the ground. Sunny, though! :/

What happened was, no one did anything about the inflow (from the city) when it started to freeze, so the whole blasted system froze up. The outdoor meter froze (cracked), and it was replaced on Friday. For some reason, though, the city didn't turn the water supply back on after they replaced the meter... I'm all about fixing things myself, but my landlord is supposed to take care of these things. It's been a TOTAL disaster. I'm moving out at the end of the year when my savings accounts roll over.

The whole country got screwed when we had record low temperatures a few weekends ago. This country also does NOTHING to insulate buildings, so you can just imagine how much money plumbers are making these days.

Blizzard conditions in Oklahoma today. Cold with over 10 inches of snow. High north winds driving that snow. Like much of the country we got socked by the storm. Currently about 8 degrees. With a low somewhere around probably 2-3 degrees. Tomorrow, a high of 13 max with a low around or below 0 degrees.

COLD!

I LOVE storms! I guess things would be a lot different, though, if I actually drove, or if I had to shovel a driveway.

Things have started to warm up here this week (just in time for Lunar New Year!). The pipe problem finally got fixed (after about 12 days without water, and after AMPLE stupidity).

Just wanted to say, I hope everyone stays safe in this hurricane! I know some of you are on the US east coast south of me. Please check in at some point to let us know all is well. I'm expecting it won't be too bad all the way in Vermont but who knows? We haven't had much of a hurricane come through here since I was a kid.

The Devil takes notes from Lina Inverse? That sounds about right.
