Duke is NCAA Basketball's 2010 national champ tonight. Both teams are a class act. Duke's Coach K can add this one to the Gold Medal he won when he coached the USA basketball team during the 2008 Olympics.

Older son, Jim, is certainly happy at the moment (Duke Class of 2009). He watched the game on closed circuit TV at Cameron Indoor Stadium on the Duke campus in Durham, North Carolina. He called me in New Haven as soon as the game ended, but I could hardly understand a word he said! I heard him better after he arrived at the bonfire. What a big night for all the Dukie students, alumni, and their families.

Congratulations to Duke on winning another championship and to your son the alumni. Honestly I probably wanted Butler to win because I wanted to favor the underdog since I have largely neutral feelings to both schools. I will always be more of a college football fan instead of college basketball.

If Hitler invaded Hell I would make at least a favorable reference to the devil in the House of Commons

Appreciate the comments. I pulled for Butler until that game. Had Jimmy decided to take UNC-Chapel Hill's acceptance letter instead, I would have pulled for Butler all the way!

Speaking of football, go Sooners!!
