So, anyone else here watching the games? It's kind of odd that Italy won the last UEFA in 2020 (which has actually held in 2021), yet did not qualify for FIFA back in 2022. This makes it kind of hard to predict how they'll perform overall in this year's tournament, though they're up to a good start so far with their 2-1 win over Albania. From what we've seen so far, Germany has had the best opening match as of yet with their 5-1 win over Scotland. And I'm honestly very happy to see that my homeland of Romania won a fantastic 3-0 game against Ukraine. It's nice to finally see them play more offensively for a change, as the Romanian national team usually has a very bad habit of being overly defensive during most of their games. Hopefully, they'll learn from this and continue pushing forward towards a more goal oriented game in their future matches as well.
In any case, we haven't yet seen every country's first match so far, so it's really hard to say who the overall favorite to win this year's tournament will be. For everyone here who has been watching, who is your favorite team so far? And what would your predictions be for this year's UEFA Euro 2024 winner?
