Post subject:  Akira Toriyama has passed away
Akira Toriyama has sadly passed away on March 1, at the age of 68 due to acute subdural hematoma. Like many other fans of his work, I grew up enjoying and being inspired by many of his works, especially Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, which up to this day, are still considered two of the best anime series ever made. Something that is known and beloved all throughout the world, even by those who don't usually watch anime in general. He of course, was also the artist who designed the characters in Chrono Trigger and those in the Dragon Quest series of games. There are of course, many other iconic series which he either created or worked on as a character designer as well, such as Dr Slump, Blue Dragon, Cowa!, Kajika and Sand Land. He will be greatly missed and remembered as an artist and for the many timeless classics that he helped create.

Rest in peace. He will be remembered forever. :cry:

His work was a huge part of my childhood and my early teenage years here in the northeastern region of Spain where I live. First, with Dr. Slump, then Dragon Ball, and lastly, his designs for the Dragon Quest series (and other games like Blue Dragon, which I hope to play someday).

Thanks a lot for bringing so much joy to my life, sensei. You will be missed.
