Hey guys. I was pointed this way from Sega-16. The progress on Surging Aura has stalled waiting on a new translator. I haven't heard from my previous translator in quite some time, which usually isn't a good sign. If anyone knows of someone (filler? ;) ) interested in helping out, please reach out here, at Sega-16 or RHDN!
Thanks for thinking of me! I did notice the message on RHDN. I've already committed to PowerDoLLS 3, and Metal Max which are both a little hefty, so I'm mostly focusing on smaller scripts aside from those. Suffice to say, now is not a good time for me to help with Surging Aura. I'd take up the offer that's appeared recently on RHDN if I were you.

The Devil takes notes from Lina Inverse? That sounds about right.

I think Momotaro uses Huffman as well.
While I think I might have done at least a trial decompression, problem is I don't I understand how to CREATE a Huffman table.
Momo Turbo, while a remake of the first game on the Famicom which has a translation out, is significantly different enough it probably would be worth translating if someone was interested and capable.

Which Momotarou game are you talking about? Part 2 or Gaiden?

The one I looked at was Turbo, the remake of Part 1 (which was on Famicom and I think X68000).

Ok. I thought you looked into the others to see if you could do them. I was gonna have a look to see if I could assist with the huffman so you could hack the game. :)

Figured I'd add Game Gear games as well, since there aren't too many of the untranslated ones, even fewer than on the Genesis, not surprisingly; may have missed something, but I think I included most of the Strategy/RPG games left for that system.

Been a while since the last post, haha. I added all the Game Gear translations to the list. All the GG RPGs are done - all of them are available in English! Just a few strategy games left. Also, Madou Monogatari and Bahamut Senki for Genesis are done, too. It's still likely that some new projects will come out within a year or two. Overall, Game Gear has been getting some love lately, in a substantial part thanks to Filler's Game Gear translation project. We'll see what the future holds for it!
