Version X being worked on does not equal version Y being worked on. David Michel and I finished the PC-FX version of Welcome to Pia Carrot in 2009. Does this mean the PC version is in progress? (This is a rhetorical question. The answer is no.)

Glancing at the list again, just thought I'd mention that I'd be interested in translating the script for Makeruna! Makendou 2, not that we don't have our hands full. I'm also still keen to translate Ranma 1/2 Chougiranbuhen if we ever need a similarly small project to work on.

Fair point; I personally just count games disregarding platforms, unless the ports are drastically different (vide Lord Monarch - SNES version doesn't have the story mode at all, whereas the SMD and Playstation versions do; what's more, the story mode on each platform is completely different), but that's outside of the scope of this list, so that's no biggie. It would take more time to make a fully comprehensive list anyway. For some reason I thought the OP did that too, but nope.

Btw, that Ranma game is quite fun, I second that assessment. :)

KingMike is working on his old Coron Land project again. He also working on RPG Maker: Super Dante, Super UNO, Tower Dream, and Shin Momotarou Densetsu. mrrichard999 is working on Super Soukoban (needed help with uncompression of few things such as the title screen). He had released a unfinished patch for Super F1 Circus 2 10 months ago.

Also, Syonen Ashibe is misspelled of Shounen Ashibe.

UPDATE 11/11/2017: I found someone named Eric Engel is working on the first game of the Super Famicom games Super Fire Pro Wrestling. I came across this tweet which posted almost a month ago. https://twitter.com/8bitAsshole/status/920127065327849473

Syonen and Shonen are technically both valid spellings. It's like the Yossy vs. Yoshi thing, one is the romanization used by Japanese speakers while the other is the one usually used by everyone else.

Out of the blue, the cartridge version of Sutte Hakkun has been fully fan-translated into English by Raccoon Sam from Finland. There is no other full English fan-translation of this game, including on the BS downloadable versions (There is an old unfinished patch for one of the four BS versions). Somehow this title was never on Datacrystal but is listed here (With AGTP working on it).

Be sure to read the readme notes - it's got a good story. Raccoon Sam says he doesn't like the title screen but I think it looks good. Says also there are some poor English translations that he inserted long ago before he'd improved his English by a lot since then. But overall I'd say this patch is worth playing now.

Several retrospectives have pointed out that the cart game gets difficult towards the end and is reliant on twitch timing reflexes, which is unfortunate.

As an aside, the developer of Sutte Hakkun, indieszero, which believe it or not, is still alive today (!) is going to release a sushi-based puzzle game called Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido on 3DS' eShop next year.

Hi Guys!

I just would like to interest that is there any chance to translate the Albert Odyssey series? Its very strange that there is no english patch for one of the best looking series on SNES :)

An accurate list of decent untranslated SNES RPGs is valuable to us. Thanks for your good work!

I noticed that in the queue and wondered if it was an English translation. Curious if the game is fun.
