A bit out of context considering the subject of matter is mostly Zsnes / Snes9x but I found out SnesGT is still alive and kicking, so I can't help but recommend it again (download link is on the snesgt BBS). As for BSNES, it seems more features are being added, including video filters, which I find rather nice. Snes9x I don't really use except for specific tests or an eventual need to help Bongo' with bug tracking. Lastly, the whole thing with Zsnes update kind of reached a mythical status nowadays, when compared to 1.51, the next version will have a lot of catching up to do with other emulators, guess we'll wait and see. |

Hi, I ran into the same issue with Slayers on the snes9x and ended up deleting the rom as I could not be bothered to go through the start again. I must state this was a rom that was prepatched. I just use what I am used to, which is snes 9x and rarely, zsnes. But I suppose I can give bsnes a try if slayers will work on that. For some reason when I tried slayers and patched the game myself with your patch..all the stats were totally whacky. I was on level 99 with, like, 65000 for money. I do not know why. |

This kind of symptom usually signals an altered rom dump or one with some sort of inbuilt trainers, in either case something most patches won't be able to work in a stable manner onto. The base rom you need is the 1.0 revision and usually rom sites name their unaltered, good dumps with a [!] in front of of the file name, so look for that indicator. |
