Eh, it's not a big deal or anything. I found some by a guy named DukeOdin but couldn't get them to work. If you have usable cheat codes they'll really come in handy during playtesting. :)

Well it certainly is nice to hear that everything is going smoothly and things are progressing quickly. As much as I love this game, I have to admit that navigating through those dungeons is a pain. Especially if it's your first time playing. A lot of gamers who are going to play our translation will probably get stuck in a few of them before getting the hang of it. Luckly, I believe that there's a spell which gives you a bird eye's few of the dungeon when used. It should come in handy if you're ever stuck somewhere (and it costs a small amount of MP from what I remember, but you'll have to check the rpglcassics walkthrough for that info).

There's an item and a spell that will give you a bird's eye view of the dungeon, and the item is pretty cheap. Even cheaper is taking a screenshot of the bird's eye view so you don't have to waste more items. I learned that trick from the PC-98 version of Slayers. :D

Quick Update..

As far as I know things are just about finished on this great game. I'm currently waiting to hear back from Red Soul on a possible release window. I'll let you know when I find out more.

That's good news. Is this likely to be the next patch release?

It's hard to say... It really depends on how long it takes to beta test Chaos Seed. Lodoss could very well be the next one!

Sorry for being so woefully absent from the forums, everyone.
In a way, that's not a bad thing, as lot of work has been going on behind the scenes with Lodoss
and apart from a few touch ups/nitpicks/fixes the game is indeed shaping up nicely and we
might be looking at the beta period starting not very far from now.

This is just the purist in me, but Roscoe seems out of place in a fictional universe outside of Lodoss. That's just my nitpick for the day.

Thanks for the observation Garrett. The script is still open for alterations despite there having been several passes already, we will strive to maintain the quality standard Lodoss intrinsically requires.
