I saw the Help Wanted add on RHDN and I got really sad that this project may go unfinished. I'd love to offer my help with whatever you need translation-wise. I'm pretty familiar with the Lodoss War series and would love to work on this game. :)

Also, translating is very unglamorous, tedious, and hard work. Especially game translating. But it's also a lot of fun. I think some people either have a really busy schedule (which is understandable), or they just get bored with a project easily and can't finish it.

Eien Ni Hen,

Do you have a list of games that you have worked on? You've contributed so much to the community, I'd be interested to see how many games I have played that were actually worked on by you.

Wow! Now that's what I'm talking about! Thank you for responding to our posting. To give you a heads up on what's left, I have 6 directories of files altogether, 5 left untranslated. The files are all stored
in a windows directory format so each text file is in actual S-Jis format which is great.

If you like, I can send you the files ( including the translated folder and an untranslated version ) so you can have a look at them to see if it's some thing you truly would like to tackle. :)

Just PM me or e-mail me so I can send things your way! Thanks for the offer!

Hey Eien, we'd love to have you around for another project. Your work on Minerva was terrific. It is slowly progressing towards completion. Look forward to working with you again around here.

RHDN implemented a new credit feature. It doesn't cover the whole database of hacks and translations yet, but it should cover most of what Eien has worked on not including scripts she's already finished.

I've worked on so many projects that your question made me draw a blank. Thanks to Garrett for the link, btw. The main games I've worked on are Ancient Magic, Fushigi no Umi no Nadia, Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru, and Emerald Dragon. I also translate manga. :)

Why, thank you! I'm glad you liked my work. Minerva was a very interesting game to work on. :)

Whoa, awesome news! Thank you very much for choosing to take on this project Eien Ni Hen! I've also seen much of your work and am a huge fan of it, Ancient Magic being one of them. I'm sure that Wildbill will be thrilled as well once he gets back. Hopefully, next year will prove to be more fruitful than this year. It hasn't really been that good of a year for a lot of us here. Speaking of which, I should probably resume my translations as well. I haven't really done much in awhile. And now that I think about it, Red Soul also seems to have taken a leave of absence. I sure hope he's alright and is able to resume working with us again soon.

Thank you again, Eien Ni Hen! We really, REALLY appreciate your help. You and filler can be huge life savers along with the other translators that do this for "fun" :) Thank you!

With that said, If anyone is free and wouldn't mind helping with a bit of the menu stuff, I do have a small request. :)

戦闘技能
防御技能
魔術技能
盗賊技能

and a picture for a little context...

No problem! I love the Lodoss War series. Glad to hear you like Ancient Magic. It seems to have been a very overlooked game. ^_^

Sure! These are:

Combat
Defense
Magic
Steal

They have the kanji for "skill" after them, but putting that in the English version is a little repetitive.
