Wow, the Chaos Seed manually looks pretty cool. The scans are really high quality, too. I've worked on a couple manuals where the kanji was barely visible.

I'm definitely interested in translating the Chaos Seed manual. If anyone else volunteers, maybe we could each tackle part of the manual?
That would be super, Eien! This game is so unique and difficult (it's busting my chops, at least!), I believe a manual trans would be a great asset to release with the patch. And Red Soul said he would make it all graphical and "pretty" He really is quite good at that sort of thing.

Let me run it by Draken and the others, but if you take it on, we should probably provide you with a copy of the beta patch, to assist you in the effort. The early part of the game is a tutorial, and that part is finished and ready for release. You could tell us if we hit the mark explaining the complicated mechanics. This should also help me shatter my current winter/spring malady of writer's block, hee-hee...!

Yay! Just got back from a week of vacationing in the Philippines, and this is great news!

There's been a partial translation at RHDN of the CS manual. Check out that link I posted on the first page again. It happened a pretty long while ago actually, but I only noticed just now. This should make it easier on those who would like to translate the rest of it. :)

Just letting everyone know I've done a bit of work on the manual in the last few days. Like Recca said, there's been a partial translation already. BRPXQZME, one of the translators over at Romhacking.net, did a super job with translating the first 17 pages.

I've done pages 18-19 and am now on 20-21. Any other translators who wish to contribute are more than welcome to. :)

Thanks, Eien!

Red Soul, when you get a chance, could you look into the possibility of transcribing some of this output into graphic form. If it's too labor-intensive, maybe we'll do a narrative version of most of the manual, but a few graphics of key pages are always nice - sames as we did in MA. I think I am close to getting rolling again on CS. More on this soon.

I'll sure take a look at it, and I'll do my best to transcribe, but it might take a while so bear with me ^.^'

Thanks for all your efforts on this Eien Ni Hen. As they've said, this game may come as a bit foreign conceptually to us so it sounds as though the manual (for once hehe) really will be a handy thing to have for both us translationwise and those who will eventually play this game. As most know, the western idea of feng Shui and the true eastern concept definitely are not synonymous, so therefore a complete understanding of the eastern concept is somewhat vital. So, again, thank you, we very much appreciate your effort on this as well as Princess Minerva's translation.
