Post subject:  Chaos Seed English Preview Video
The title is self-explanatory - the first link is a five minute version of the second and third links (15 minutes). I wish I could get a flash version to play on this board directly.

So, Draken has called me to duty for the final re-write and initial polishing of the CS storyline. I have nearly completed the first scenario - called Lecture. I thought this might be a good opportunity to show everyone what the game looks like when it's played in English. Surprising to me, since I never played CS until yesterday, the battle system and cave backdrop suggest a Zelda-like ambiance.

Here's a video I'm trying to stream on the Chaos Seed Project Page.

This is our long version that restores about five minutes of cut segments.
YouTube kicked back my initial upload because I exceeded the 15 minute limit.
This longer version is uninterrupted from the Game load to the stop point.
It should play in Firefox. BTW, we are not double-spacing after periods in CS.

That said, personally I think its a better idea to just supply a link like you just did as to lessen
page render times for people with slow connections.

I have two reasons to put a resident SWF/FLV flash player with a functioning control bar and VAR setting to "autostart="false"" that actually works on the project pages.

(1) Heh, the control bar will give the viewer the option to review the preview there without auto-starting and playing music that some folks such as TF find annoying!
(2) YouTube is restricted to 15 minutes running time. Once the video file DLs, the viewer may use the control bar to review the video, skip ahead, or whatever.

If we don't have Javascript support, that may be the issue. The control bar plug-in or however it's handled from player to player may not function in HTML/CSS.

The progress of CS's translation is really coming along nicely! Videos are nice, but if you're having trouble with them Wildbill, you could always stick to good old fashioned screen shots. I heard that you can go over the 15 minute limit at youtube, but I don't exactly now how...

Heh, I just deduced a slick way to hit 30 minutes... Make two videos, part 1 and part 2!! Anyway, part of my problem is I love to tinker. Whenever I'm too tired from three or four hours of sleep (or distracted by having 59 irons in the fire) to concentrate on writing or running dangerous construction tools with sharp edges, I search for top-notch freeware and learn how to make videos in which the sound actually synchronizes with the action.

Looks very nice and well done! (not a fan of bolded dialogue tho...).

Btw, could you make a small name change during your rewrites?
The country where the action takes place is Doutenfuku (rather than Doutenpuku), I confirmed with official sources.
This may be 99% my fault for spreading the wrong name with my FAQ, doh! I'll fix it in the next revision.
Fortunately the name doesn't come too often so it'd be easy to change.
